La Dolce Vita Peaks: Introducing Gennaro’s, the New Italian Restaurant at L’Apogée Courchevel

Overview

L’Apogée Courchevel proudly unveils a new culinary experience for its 10th anniversary winter season: Gennaro’s, a pop-up restaurant in collaboration with renowned chef Gennaro Esposito of La Palma Capri, an Oetker Collection property. With Chef Esposito serving as Consultant Chef alongside L’Apogée Courchevel’s Executive Chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois and Pastry Chef Tanya Colella, Gennaro’s promises guests a tantalizing journey through the sun-drenched cuisine of Oetker Collection’s premier Italian Masterpiece Hotel.

The Culinary Masters

Chef Gennaro Esposito, adorned with two Michelin stars for his acclaimed restaurant Torre del Saracino in Naples, brings his expertise as both Executive Chef of La Palma Capri and Consultant Chef for Gennaro’s. Raised in the kitchens of Naples, Chef Esposito’s culinary journey blends traditional Neapolitan flavors with gastronomic finesse honed alongside Michelin-starred mentors.

The Menu

Crafted by Chef Esposito, Gennaro’s menu invites guests to savor Southern Italian delights inspired by the chef’s childhood memories and regional flavors. Dishes like Genovese-style tuna with black truffle and linguini with sea urchins showcase Chef Esposito’s culinary prowess, while Pastry Chef Tanya Colella adds her Italian heritage to the dessert menu with her special creation, A-Mando, a delightful fusion of Torrito almonds and fig.

The Atmosphere

Designed by Francis Sultana, Gennaro’s exudes a cozy ambiance with its rich, alpine interpretation of la dolce vita. Soft materials and warm hues create an inviting space where guests can unwind and indulge in the delicate flavors of Italy after a day on the slopes or exploring nearby villages.
